Product Introduction
Pet Clothes
Monarch®™ series are brand-new characteristic domes house products that we have created. The product structure does not contain a metal supporting frame and has a 360-degree transparent view.
The primary material of the product adopts imported polycarbonate (the basic material of bullet-proof glass and explosion-proof shields) and aviation aluminum profile, which has high safety and strong protection. As a result, it can safely avoid snakes, insects, ants, and large beasts in the wild.
At the same time, the product adopts a modular assembly design, the installation and disassembly process is simple and fast, and the on-site assembly cost is low.
Monarch®™ series products have a variety of specifications, such as diameters of 2.1M, 3.3M, 4M, 5M, and 10M, and products of different specifications can be spliced and combined with each other. As a result, the product is highly flexible and can meet the application needs of multiple scenarios.
Main Features
The main part of our transparent dome house is made of polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is a tough thermoplastic resin titled "Plastic King." PC material has no toxic substances, has high heat resistance, good toughness and impact strength, and high flame resistance; it has a wide range of applications in industry and construction, such as aircraft cabin covers, architectural special-shaped curtain walls, bulletproof glass, explosion-proof shields, etc.
Good Light Transmittance (can reach up to 90%)
It will not be yellowing or fogging and decreases light transmission even with exposure to the sun.
UV Resistance
An anti-ultraviolet co-extrusion layer on the surface prevents the resin from aging and yellowing caused by sunlight and ultraviolet rays. In addition, the surface co-extruded layer has chemical bonds to absorb ultraviolet light and convert it into visible light, stabilizing plant photosynthesis (It is very suitable for protecting valuable artworks and exhibits from UV damage.)
Temperature Resistance
Will not cause quality deterioration such as deformation in the range of -40℃ ~ +120℃
Flame Retardance
According to the national GB8624-97 test, it belongs to the flame retardant B1 level, with no fire drop and no poisonous gas.
Impact Resistance
The impact strength of a PC endurance board is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass.
Transparent & Frameless
The product does not contain any metal frame and is 360° fully transparent, so guests will not miss the beauty of any corner.
Quick Installation and Easy Disassembly
Modular splicing assembly, a set of product installations can be completed within 2-3h, installation labour cost is low, the construction period is short, and it can be put into operation quickly. Products of any specifications can be spliced in structure, and the products have a variety of combinations.

With or Without Electricity
Solutions when the installation site has no electricity
Problem Description:
With high strength, long durability, eye-catching appearance, and eco-friendly materials, Monarch® & iglu® domes can be widely used for camp or glamping sites, resorts, hotels, restaurants, greenhouses, offices, etc.
To get closer to nature, some customers use our clear domes in places far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, such as forests, mountains, small islands, etc. But in these places often hard to get electricity. Will the domes get very hot or cold without electricity???
Usually, the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the Clear PC Dome is about 7-10 degrees Celsius.
If there is no shelter around the dome in hot summer, the temperature difference can be even higher!
So, please refer to below for our solutions if there is no electricity available!
Excellent Ventilation Design
Window and Door:
Take the Monarch® domes hot selling D4.5M and D5.3M iglu® as an example, Monarch® domes product comes standard with one door and two windows, and the windows and doors are equipped with screen windows to ensure air circulation.
Window and Door:
The door and window are made of high-quality aviation aluminum alloy with powder coating and anodizing treatment. It’s anti-corrosion, durable, and suitable for harsh outdoor environments.
Take the Monarch® iglu® domes hot-selling models of 4.5M and 5.3M Domes as an example, the product comes standard with one door and two windows, and the windows and doors are equipped with anti-mosquito screen windows.
The anti-mosquito screen windows are necessary for outdoor environments as they can improve ventilation performance and prevent mosquitoes' entry.
Curtain
Monarch® product is equipped with specially designed sunshade curtains, which can not only protect privacy but also have a good sunshade effect.
Sunshade Curtain
We use the high-quality sunshade curtains; the shade of curtain can reach around 90-95% which can also play a role in heat insulation.
All curtains and rails are custom-made according to the size of each PC Domes and are available in a variety of colors.
The curtains are also necessary for the domes, it can not only protect privacy, but also have a good sunshade effect.
Exhaust Fan
High-Efficiency Exhaust Fan:
The exhaust fan has a speed control switch, which can control the fan's speed, and the maximum speed is 2500 rpm. The bottom is designed with anti-mosquito gauze, which can be removed for cleaning inside, and is available in AC 110-230V voltage, suitable for accommodation applications and restaurants.
High-Efficiency Exhaust Fan
The input voltage of this exhaust fan is DC24V, which can be directly connected to the solar system. The power is about 30W. Therefore, it does not need a large-capacity battery and is easy to use.
The exhaust fan has a speed control switch, which can control the fan's speed, and the maximum speed is 2500rpm, which can significantly improve the ventilation performance of the domes. In addition, the bottom part is designed with an anti-mosquito gauze, which can be removed for cleaning.
The exhaust fan can be installed at any position on the top and side, with great flexibility.
Shading Solutions
Artificial Grass or Awning:
The artificial grass can be added to the side of the PC Dome.
It can not only have the effect of heat insulation, but also fit perfectly with some application scenarios
PVC Awning
The awning is specially designed according to the size of our PC Domes, while retaining the transparent area at the top, which does not affect the stargazing experience at night. With this awning, the temperature in the dome is 5℃ lower than that of the regular PC Dome.

Turning the room into a characteristic romantic flower room. On the premise of not affecting the viewing of the starry sky and the external natural landscape, it forms a natural thermal insulation layer, which greatly improves living comfort.
Infrared Resistance
Infrared Resistance Material:
The infrared coating material can cut about 90% of infrared rays in sunlight and has better thermal insulation performance. Compared with the conventional version, the body temperature difference is about 5°℃.
Infrared Resistance Material
The sun's heat is mainly transmitted to the earth through infrared rays; we have the upgraded version material with infrared resistance available for our PC Domes.
The infrared coating material can cut about 90% of infrared rays in sunlight and has better heat insulation performance.
Compared with the domes with conventional version material, the temperature difference that the human body can feel inside is about 5℃.
In Winter Time
Main Material:
The thermal conductivity (K value) of the PC board is lower than that of ordinary glass and other plastics, the thermal insulation effect is 7%-25% higher than that of the same glass, and the thermal insulation of the PC board is as high as 49%. Thus, the heat loss is significantly reduced, and it is an environmentally friendly material for buildings with heating equipment.

The sealing performance is excellent with the sealing silicone strip for our domes; it can improve the thermal insulation performance and prevent mosquitoes and dust from entering the splices.
The polycarbonate material that we use is B1 class flame retardancy, so you can use a fireplace in the dome for heating if there is no electricity available in cold winter.
Heating System Floor:
We can also provide the heating system floor; it can be connected with each other easily.
Conclusion:

Our dome house is suitable for use in an environment of -25 ℃ ~ +45 ℃.

The staying experience would be much better if we could use an air-conditioner.

The temperature inside the dome can be maintained at 25°C with an air-conditioner turned on for half an hour when the outdoor temperature is -5°C. ( Based on the actual feedback data of a 5.3M dome customers)

The temperature inside the dome can be maintained at around 22°C with an air-conditioner turned on for one hour when the outdoor temperature is 35°C. ( Based on the actual feedback data of a 4.5M dome customers)

The temperature inside a dome with the infrared resistance material is about 5-7 ℃ lower than the standard UV resistance PC material. (Based on the actual tests in our showroom)

Our clear PC Dome is still a good option for your project, even if no electricity is available at the installation site.

Monarch® 10 dome with ample space solution for many different occasions. The second floor is available in two different variants. The first option is flooring over the entire area - approx. 50 m2.
Option two is a floor covering only ¾ of the area, so that you can see down to the first floor. Spiral tap and rails/railings are not included on the second floor. (See picture gallery)
The first floor can be divided into 3-4 rooms, including a bathroom solution. Wall elements are not included as well as a sliding door between bedroom & bathroom and laundry room not included. You can also install a door on the 2nd floor for any exit to a terrace that is built from ground level on the outside of the dome.

Monarch® Connected Starry Sky Series
Our connected series of Monarch® domes of 2.1 with 3.5 or 4, 4 or.5.3 more. Glass domains are easily connected with a door that separates them, so you can easily go between domains. The most appropriate is to use the glass dome with a diameter of 2.1 for a bathroom/toilet/shower solution. Then you get to utilize the space in the large glass dome at the same time as having a toilet, sink, shower or similar in the smallest one. Very popular solution that makes everything much easier. The smallest dome can also be used as a dining/relaxation area for 2-3 people.

Compared to a normal greenhouse, a Monarch® Dome has better insulation and natural light diffusion.
Insulation.
When it comes to insulation, polycarbonate sheets are much better than glass. This means that the natural light will spread evenly with polycarbonate greenhouses. That means you don't need to move your plants to get sunlight or don't need to be prepared for artificial lighting. In addition, the polycarbonate sheet is UV protected. In other words, it means that polycarbonate greenhouses have lower heating and cooling costs in the long run. Glass has no heat protection or diffusion, which is not suitable for installation in harsh weather conditions. Strong and hot sunlight can burn your plants in summer.
Polycarbonate sheets are approximate ~250 times stronger than ordinary glass, although they are half as light. Polycarbonate sheets are suitable for all kinds of weather and climate such as heavy snow, storm and hail, they are literally unbreakable.

Exquisite Processing Technology

Do I need a building permit?
You are responsible for finding out what you are allowed to build on your property. For each country, city, district and community, the reader should consult the official version of the by-law and proper regulations before buying and installing a Monarch® / iglu® dome.
What is a glass dome made of?
Polycarbonate – Makrolon – Lexan (Impact resistant)
Our domes are produced from ~5 mm polycarbonate sheets, 300 times stronger than ordinary glass and almost unbreakable. In addition, it is UV treated.
Polycarbonate is an impact-resistant, unbreakable plastic sheet with a glossy surface, excellent clarity and light penetration.
Polycarbonate, also called Makrolon or Lexan, is particularly suitable as e.g., burglar-proof panels for windows, as they are almost impossible to break. The police shield is e.g., made of polycarbonate.
Polycarbonate UV is protected against yellowing from the sun and can thus be used both indoors and outdoors.
Scratch-free polycarbonate is suitable for shop windows and other windows that must be cleaned at regular intervals and which must be unbreakable. Scratch-free means that you do not scratch the plate when sanding. Scratch-free polycarbonate is also UV-protected.
Is it easy to set up and take down? Is it easy to assemble or disassemble ?
Yes, a glass dome is easy to both assemble and dismantle. 3 people are needed to set it up, which will take 3-5 hours. You can dismantle it in 30 minutes!
Detailed assembly instructions in video format are included. It is easy to DIY (do it yourself).
Do I need a foundation, and how is the dome attached to the ground?
Yes, you must have a stable foundation to mount the dome on. This can be a solid wooden decking/terrace or a concrete sole. All you need to do is anchor the plinth to your foundation. All screws and accessories are included.
How much wind can a dome withstand? What about the snow load?
Our domes can withstand very strong winds. They have been tested in wind speeds of up to 110km/h and can withstand 2 m deep snow loads.
What temperatures can a dome withstand?
Our domes are produced from polycarbonate plates and can operate in temperatures between -40℃ +130℃. Recommended winter use down to -25 degrees.
What about insulating ability?
U-value
The U-value measures how good the thermal insulation is in a part of a building. A low U-value for windows and external walls means little heat passes through the materials.
Heat transfer coefficient, also called U-value, is a measure used in the building materials industry to indicate the heat-insulating ability of a building part. The U-value is measured in W/(m²K) and indicates the amount of heat that per unit of time passes one square meter of the structure at a temperature difference of one kelvin (or one degree Celsius) between the two sides of the structure.
U-value, in the glass dome is between 3-3.2W / (m2K)
A simple windowpane has a U-value of approx. 5 W/(m²K)
How about a view into a 360-degree transparent glass dome?
We have an electric curtain for the ceiling and a manual curtain for the side wall. So you don't have to worry about unwanted exposure. You can simply lie on the bed and press the button to look at the stars.
The curtain also helps to block the sunshine in the summer.
Does a glass dome have any kind of chemical smell?
No. Polycarbonate is entirely odourless.
What about fire hazards?
Polycarbonate sheet is a flame-resistant material. The fire classification for regular polycarbonate panels is V2/UL94.
What about maintenance and cleaning?
A dome does not need special cleaning. Usually, the rain takes care of that job. But you can use a garden hose and mild soap. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth/sponge. Do not scrub with brushes or coarse fibres.

How to heat it in the winter? How to make it cool in the summer?
Natural ventilation. All models have windows and one door with fly mesh. Curtains system help you make it cooler in the dome.
an air conditioning system is recommendedfor both heating and cooler. A woodd-brurning stove or fireplace can be use. If there is no access to electricity, bioethanol or gas may be use but with the proper guidance. It is possible to install heater, floor heating.
